PAKPAC Internship.

Pak Pac is in the process of organizing and assisting the US congressional leaders to search for interns from the Pakistani-American Community. Applicable candidates would include the one who has recently graduated or a current student with M.A. in law, social sciences, international relations, international development, or policy analysis. It is important for the interns to have good writing skills, research skills, as well as good interpersonal qualities. PAKPAC currently has volunteer opportunities in following specialties:

a. State grassroots coordinator.

Position description:

Responsibility for developing and driving local grass-root membership drive in your communities.

Skills, Experience and Qualification needed:

PAKPAC is looking for young, dynamic, and motivated candidates, who feel passionately about Pakistani-American issues. Candidates who are willing to support the grass-root campaign effort and spread PAKPAC message in their local and regional areas.

Location:

They can work from their homes or virtual offices.

b. Part time fundraiser.

Position description:

PAKPAC is seeking individuals to provide fundraising and administrative support for fundraising activities.

Skills, Experience and Qualification needed.

Self motivated individual with passion for Pakistani-American causes. In addition, person should have experience in fundraising initiatives in the past and excellent communication skills and quality to persevere.

Location:

Can work from home or virtual office.

c. Researcher Analyst.

Position description:

Need to research and identify prospective donors on the Pakistani American Community and also have a capacity to research on specific issues and write brief analytic reports on specific issues.

Skills, Experience, Qualification needed:

Good research analysis and analytic skills with the capacity to do Internet searches.

Location:

Can work from home or virtual office.

d. Creative Writers.

Position description:

Capacity to develop, check, and review all Pak Pac written material, and maintain consistency, and communications, will have to work on proof checking all publications, and help in the content design and development task.

Skills, Experience, Qualification needed:

Excellent written communication skills, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and good mature judgment, and writing skills.

Location:

Can work from home or virtual office.

e. Web coordination.

Position description:

Ability to help, maintain, and manage the web site with ability to frequent update and changes in the web site as needed.

Skills, Experience, Qualification needed:

Organizational skills. Should have ability to write and create web pages and create links.

f. Event Coordinator.

Position description:

Work with Pak Pac to develop, coordinate, and manage fund raising and other events. Responsible for task coordination and management, reach out to the volunteer pool across your state or other areas and develop and manage events.

Skills, Experience, Qualification needed:

Experience, good organizational and interpersonal skills with experience, and event management, and coordination.

Location:

Can be from home or virtual office in your area.

g. Volunteer Program Coordinator for individual States.

Position description:

Would work for Pak Pac to develop a volunteer program, and will responsible for task coordination and management, and coordinate and organize volunteers in your respective state.

Skills, Experience, Qualification needed:

Good interpersonal skills and good organizational skills.

h. Legal Compliance Officer.

Position description:

Work on the documentation and filing of PAKPAC.

Skills, Experience, Qualification needed:

Qualification, need legal background, especially corporate law.

Location:

Can work from home and virtual office.

I. Database Manager.

Position description:

Would be responsible for designing, membership, voluntary database, responsible for task coordination, and management.

Skills, Experience, qualifications needed:

Functional industry knowledge, knowledge of data modeling, database design, and analysis with experience on web application, development of data management tools including replication, synchronization, and propagation experience with programming and access and/or SQL.

j. Membership Communication Director

Position description:

Work with PAKPAC to develop, coordinate, and manage membership communications, and coordinate, and manage, and check e-mail, and respond as needed.

Skills, Experience, Qualification needed:

Good organizational, interpersonal skills, good for mature judgment, have a good writing skills, and excellent customer service skills.
