PAKPAC Meeting with Senator Biden

 

The Pakistani-American Public Affairs Committee Board members and friends had recently had a meeting with Senator Biden in Washington, DC.  This meeting was focused on discussing the long-term US-Pakistan based policy.  Senator Biden has had deep understanding of the needs, assessment and the long-term Pakistan-US relationship strategy.  The Pakistani-American Public Affairs Committee Board Members met with Senator Biden to discuss the long-term strategy with respect to helping Pakistan build a healthcare and education infrastructure, and improve the governance in the country for a long-term stability of the region.

PAKPAC is appreciative of the efforts of Senator Biden with respect to Pakistan-US policy strategy.  PAKPAC has welcomed the selection of Senator Biden as vice presidential candidate by Senator Obama. Senator Biden, who has served as chair of the important judiciary committee, which has overseen the civil rights related challenges, he is also one of the founders of civil rights commission of the United States, and also has been the chair of the most important Senate Foreign Relations Committee brings multiple years of experience to the Obama ticket.

PAKPAC urges the Pakistani-American community to remain engaged with the political process with both the presidential candidates and remain active in their political activities within the US to elect the right candidate.
