March 6th, 2008: Washington DC; Pakistani American Community President Dr. Saud Anwar met with the Democratic National Committee representatives to discuss the need to increase the presence of Pakistani Americans within the Democratic National Committee. Discussion was held to have a hospitality suite and increase presence of the community members at the National Convention as well.

PAKPAC continues to reach out to the Pakistani American community members and the youth to increase their involvement within the political process and become an active indispensable part of the political parties in their respective local communities. Joining the DNC and being a part of the convention would be one part of this process.
