PAKPAC welcomes the 60 Million Dollars Project on Women and Child
Health initiated by USAID:
Pakistani-American Public Affairs Committee welcomes the FALAH Program (Family Advancement in Life and Health Program) launched by
the USAID in Pakistan. This program is focused towards using the experiences of the past 40 years and research in those regions
and applying the information and knowledge to help child safety and Reproductive Health Programs in some of the undeserved areas in
Pakistan. It has been initiated in 20 districts in Pakistan, which include the Gwadar, Jaffarabad, Turbat/Kech, Khuzdar, Lasbela
and Zob in Balochistan, Battagram, Boner, Charsadda, Lakki Marwat, Swat and upper there in NWFP, Dera Ghazi Khan and Jehlum in
Punjab and Dadu, Ghotki, Larkana, Sanghar, Sakhar and Thatha in Sindh. PAKPAC boards long-term projects, which would help
strengthened by healthcare education and financial infrastructure and help with governance in economic growth of the region.
