Feb 14^th, 2008, Hartford CT.  Pakistani-American Public Affairs Committee President Dr. Saud Anwar testified to the state legislators to discuss the health care challenges of the Asian-American Community.

He testified in front of the appropriations committee of the State Legislators to discuss the health care disparities in the communities and the importance of having strategies and careful and appropriate use of state funding for development of a commission not only to help study, but also tackle the disparities in health care, with respect to health education, prevention and management and access for the underserved and high risk populations.
