Thursday, June 5th, 2008: The Pakistani-American Public Affairs Committee’s President Dr. Saud Anwar, was interviewed at National Public Radio on Pakistan’s specific issues.

This was a one-hour interview on some of the US policy related issues. In this interview, Dr. Saud Anwar stressed on the importance of Pakistan-US relationship and the importance of having a long-term strategy with development of better understanding the people of Pakistan and the people of United States.

Issues highlighted included the need for education, healthcare and country build up infrastructure, and the need to strengthen democratic institutions in Pakistan.

This interview session was performed at the NPR at “where we live” the segment on Pakistan.
