FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

March 7th, 2008: Connecticut; Pakistani American Community President Dr. Saud Anwar and members of the Pakistani American community and PAKPAC supporters had a meeting with Congressman Chris Murphy. The meeting agenda included dealing with the concerns of the community regarding the civil rights challenges and policies which impact the community. Discussion was held about the need for task force to study the challenges within the community. Discussion about the Pakistan US relationship was held with regards to the current Biden plan and the need to have a US policy focused towards the people of Pakistan.
