PAKPAC New Year Message

In the next many hours we will be beginning the new calendar year of 2004.

It is important for all Americans of Pakistani heritage and all American Muslims to understand that the year 2004 will be one of the most important years for us.

Our positive actions and involvement in the political process in the United States will help determine our future in this country. Our determination, understanding, and articulation of issues and acting on our responsibilities would help define our destination. We must first improve and then use ourselves, our resources to educate and positively influence the perceptions of the people, institutions, media outlets, think tanks, legislators, and administrators.

We request and urge all Pakistani Americans to take this coming year as a challenge to work hard cohesively for the rights and protection of our future here.
