PAKPAC PRESS RELEASE
REGARDING THE LONDON TERRORRIST ATTACKS:
July 7th, 2005
The Pakistani American Public Affairs Committee
(PAKAPC) joins all Pakistani Americans to strongly and unequivocally
condemn the terrorist attacks in London on July 7th, 2005. PAKPAC
condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. There is
absolutely no justification for taking innocent lives. Our hearts
and prayers are with the families and friends of those killed and
injured as a result of these attacks. We urge Muslims all over the
world to unite against the common enemy of all civilized people
and people of faith PAKPAC remind news media, journalists, media
experts to observe full caution in drawing any judgments. We ask
Pakistani Americans and people of Pakistani heritage in United States
to observe caution to protect themselves at this time of high emotions.
The pakistani American community has been the single most affected
community in the United States in the aftermath of 9/11 backlash,
despite the fact that not a single individual of Pakistani heritage
was involved directly or indirectly in any or the terrorist
activity.
