As the American Muslims Community and the Pakistani American Community prepares to celebrate the month of Ramzan

Here are some suggestions to have some secondary gains form the Iftaar parties.

While discussing the many other important issues and things at the parties just consider adding the following topics:

A) Ask people if they have registered to vote: If they have not registered, Ask them to register by one of the following means:

a. Online: http://www.pakpac.net/action1.asp

b. By downloading, printing the forms for your respective states: http://www.register-to-vote.net/

c. The host may want to pre print and copy forms.

B) Ask people that they may want to affiliate with a political party at least in the registration: Example: If they register as democrats, they will be able to participate in the primaries and select one of the 9 current Presidential candidates.

C) Encourage the people to make sure that they actually participate in the primaries and actually go out and vote.

D) Please ask people to make sure that they interact with the candidates and make sure that their views are heard. It is important to call, write, and speak to the decision makers.
