We are sure that most of our community members are well aware of the faith-based initiatives. Whether we like it or not, they are here. It is important for the American-Muslim Community to be well aware of the faith-based initiative and the options that it brings.

It is of critical importance that we identify the resource that is available, and initiate and empower our existing projects with respect to our human rights missions, education, community building and service to other communities.

In order to do the above and get support from our government, we must be able to write effective grants on these initiatives, and must encourage our existing institutions to make the best use of the grants to make the use of the faith-based initiative funds that is available to all the people of faith in the United States.
