ISSUES

 

 -Civil Right Challenges for Pakistani Americans-Name Check and Background Check challenges and Visa Challenges for the Pakistani Physicians, Students and Visitors

- Long term strategy of Pakistan US relationship with focus on support of the "Biden Plan"

Acknowledgement of the services of Pakistani American Physicians to the communities across United States. 

WHO & WHY:

We in our individuals capacities ask all other Pakistani Americans, Muslims, and other concerned US citizens to join together as ONE single group and VOICE for this, “Advocacy Day on the Hill” to gather support for the critical issues and challenges of this time.


WHEN:

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

We request our members and our fellow Pakistani Americans to consider planning to come to Washington DC on Wednesday, June 26th, 2008.

Basic Information about Day on Hill


WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

If you represent an organization or are active with an organization of Pakistani Americans, American Muslims or any other responsible groups plan to attend.

If you have an understanding and have been in touch with your member of congress, and especially have been helping with contribution and voluntary time with your members, please do attend.

If you are concerned citizen and feel passionate about this, and are willing to establish a link with your member of congress including raising funds for him/her if they support your causes please plan to attend.
