DAY ON THE HILL PLANNING REMINDER
PAKPAC and APPNA’s day on the hill is on June 26th, 2008. If you have not already done so, please write
to your members of congress to setup an appointment to meet with
them. The appointment can be set by using the following suggested
method:
Write your name, address and telephone number
on the letter placed below, fax it to the Washington DC office of
your members of congress. (This link will
get you to the fax number once your place your info) Follow
up with the phone call and secure your time.

As a constituent of your district, I want
to meet with you to discuss some issues that are of concern to me.
The Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America and Pakistani-American
Public Affairs Committee and other organizations are coordinating a Advocacy Day on the Hill.
I am hoping to discuss the following issues of concern to me:
A) The ongoing deterioration of civil rights of Pakistani Americans
and American Muslims.
B) Support of a resolution to recognize the services of the Pakistani American Physicians in taking care of the underserved communities within the United states.
C) Discussion on the Pakistan US relations and the need to pursue the Biden Plan for Pakistan US Relations.
On June 26th, 2008, I want to setup an appointment
to meet with you to discuss the issues in more detail between 9 AM to 12 noon for 15 minutes in your office.
I want to also invite you to the luncheon on the same day (June 26th) between noon time and have lunch with us and also please speak to the Pakistani American Community
at the Capitol Building Room HC5.
