OFFICE OF LEGAL AFFAIRS
PAKPAC office of legal affairs provides looking
into providing legal assistance on civil rights and civil liberty
issues. The office of legal affairs is composed of attorneys and
people experienced with civil rights related cases.
Many of our volunteer attorneys may be willing
to provide time from their law firms to PAKPAC. PAKPAC will help
identify specific cases and pursue with the firms to pursue litigations
where necessary.
The PAKPAC legal affairs office can help
in provide assistance with the following issues:
1. Workplace discrimination.
2. Denial of public accomodation.
3. Civil rights and civil liberty related issues.

during business hours and phone calls from Pakistani-Americans,
who need legal advice and assistance, would be taken and appropriate
information would be passed on to individuals who should be able
to help with respect to the issues.
Please note that this is not a legal immigration
hotline, but a service where specifically bias hate crime, employment
discrimination, and racial profiling related issues will be dealt
with.
PAKPAC in association with national and local
law firms will be willing to arrange for legal representation of
Pakistani-Americans and instances where litigation is necessary.
Some of the PAKPAC members would be able to help with the legal
database and judicial opinion if necessary. We are also looking
for more volunteers, who would be able to help in specific situations.
