Pervez Shah

Dr. Shah born in Sindh , Pakistan , received his primary education in New Delhi , India and then subsequently came to Pakistan .
He completed his medical school at the Dow Medical College in Karachi and subsequently pursued for higher education to United
Kingdom. He has been a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeon in Edinburgh and subsequently came to United States in 1971, where
he completed his surgery residency and urology residency.
He has been an associate professor of clinical urology at George Washington University
in the past. He has been active in organizing the Pakistani-American community and has served as the president of Dow Medical
College alumni (DOGANA) and was also one of the individuals in the earlier stages who joined in and strengthened the Association of
Physicians of Pakistani Descent from North America (APPNA) during its infancy and had severed as the president both for DOGANA and
APPNA in the past. He has serves as a member of the PAKPAC board of directors and has served as a secretary and also in the past
as president of PAKPAC
