Khalid Mahmood
Dr. Khalid Mahmood graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore in 1981 and moved to the United States in 1985. He completed
Internal Medicine residency at Brooklyn-Caledonian Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. In 1993 he completed Fellowship in Nephrology at
Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Los Angles. Within two years he began private practice in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His skills and
expertise and administrative acumen helped him become the Medical Director for 3 dialysis facilities.
In addition to his clinical practice he opened multiple dialysis facilities and physical therapy clinics of his own in multiple
different areas. After 10 years in Arkansas, I relocated his practice to Dallas, Texas where he has continued his entrepreneurial
skills have helped him to successfully venture into multiple non-medical businesses as well.
Dr. Mahmood has been a Life Member of APPNA (Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America) and KEMCAANA (King
Edward Medical College Alumni Association of North America). He has served as the President of KEMCAANA in 2006. He has been
elected to the position of a Board Member of PSNT (Pakistan Society of North Texas) and President Elect of North Texas Chapter of
APPNA. He has been a member of American Civil Liberties Union ACLU and actively participates in local Pakistani American community
organizations helping to raise funds for different charitable causes. He has been active in reaching out to the local legislators
in the areas and is anticipated to bring his organizational experience and ability to create resources to PAKPAC
