PAKPAC Hassan Bukhari Dr. Bukhari born in Gujranwala, Punjab, completed his medical education from King Edward Medical College. Subsequently, immigrated to United States and trained in vascular surgery in Baylor University in Dallas. He has been active with the Pakistani-American community at multiple levels and has been one of the initial supporters of APPNA (Association of Physician of Pakistani descent in North America). He has severed as the president of APPNA and subsequently was also the custodian of the APPNA life membership fund. He has been the chair for APPNA Sehat program, which has been helping and overseeing the primary healthcare issues in some of the most underserved areas of Pakistan. Because of his services to the community, he was also the recipient of the APPNA gold medal award. He has served as the PAKPAC president in the past and continues to remain active in the local community in Dallas, Texas and also on the national level in multiple different organizations |
